The Mitek Vapor 3 System was developed for arthroscopic procedures. The VAPR 3 generator produces radio frequency energy waveforms that perform soft-tissue vaporization, coagulation, and simultaneous hemostasis. The system is intended for use in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, and wrist. The VAPR is designed for a range of arthroscopic procedures including subacromial decompression, chrondoplasty, synovectomy, lateral release of the knee, anterior cruciate ligament debridement, menisectomy, and thermal modification.
